UK bans sale of five invasive non-native aquatic plants


The UK government has announced that five species of invasive non-native aquatic plants are to be banned from sale.  The plants, which will be banned from April 2014, are water fern, parrot's feather, floating pennywort, water primrose and Australian swamp stonecrop.  Click here for a full news article from the GB Non-native Species secretariat.
